A Model for Evaluation of Supported Employment Programs

The Outcomes Project was initiated...

in 1992 by the Community Involvement Council with the support of the Ministry of Community and Social Services London Area Office.  The process was entered into as agencies who served people with disabilities asked these questions:

• are clients satisfied with services?
• are programs effective?
• how can agencies be accountable to clients and funders?
• what outcomes will answer these questions?

was published in April of 1996.  The three step model was created to provide:

• quantitative data
• qualitative data
• a peer-review process
