Welcome to simple safety...

and welcome to a safety training program that has been designed with simple language and lots of graphics for easier understanding.  simple safety was...

Welcome to the simple language revolution!  Finally, a safety training program has been developed that suits the needs of people who may have significant literacy barriers and anyone who wants to understand occupational health and safety in easier terms.

simple safety will provide students with a general understanding of occupational health and safety and prepare them for learning about workplace specific safety information related to hazards in their individual workplaces.  It covers topics such as: WHMIS, safety rights, legislated duties of the workplace parties, occupational health, hazard control, and much, much, more!

Social Service Providers can use simple safety to prepare the people they serve for employment.  Employers can use simple safety to train their employees and meet their legal obligation to provide generic safety training.  It's easy, just click on the files below and get the Teacher Manual, the Student Manual, and graphic library of overheads that have been designed to assist in training.

simple safety has been designed using the web standard, Adobe Acrobat; to ensure excellent file compression for quick downloads, cross platform usage on any computer, and sharper graphics.  Adobe Acrobat Reader ver. 4.xx or higher is required to be able to use simple safety.  If you don't already have it, simply click on the link below.
