CIC PublicationsThe Community Involvement Council's Stories Project has produced a number of publications which highlight community inclusion and illuminate the manner in which this can be accomplished. These publications are being read and enjoyed by thousands of educators, students, and families from all over the world. Her Shoes are brown is a collection of stories from people across Southern Ontario, Canada, who have shared their challenges and triumphs. While Her Shoes are brown was being developed it became apparent that there is a gap between philosophy and action. Jumping the Gap - more stories and ideas includes stories, ideas, thoughts, notes, concerns, impressions, beliefs and viewpoints about the struggle and successes of jumping that gap. The Community Involvement Council News is a compilation from teachers, students, employers, employees, and families across the province of Ontario, Canada, who have shared their stories about school and work.
