Listen Hear Story Submission

The Community Involvement Council welcomes stories from persons with disabilities regarding their experiences related to the challenges and triumphs in overcoming the sometimes seemingly insurmountable barriers in their lives.  Stories can be in the traditional format or could even take shape as a poem.   When developing your story, don't forget to follow the 5 W's!: Who, What, When, Where, Why.

Sharing is simple.  Just email the story as a MS Word or Rich Text Format (.rtf) document to the CIC Webmaster.

Note: Any pictures or promotional flyers (for those submitting a business story) may be scanned and emailed to the Webmaster.  All pictures should be sent in either .gif or .jpeg (preferred) format at no more than 75 dots per inch (dpi). 

Your story and pictures will be viewable on the CIC On-Line web site for the world to see and may be published in "Listen Hear."  As well, submitting a story to the Listen Hear project will entitle persons with disabilities who own their own businesses to free promotion of your goods and services on CIC On-Line in the Self Employment Showcase.
